DRIPS AND DROPS

01 Tap Drip
A loose tap in a quiet kitchen.
Play single notes with uneven gaps. Try gentle velocity changes.
Try MIDI notes 48-67.

02 Leaky Teapot
A hollow drop into an empty pot.
Alternate low and high notes, leaving room for each tail.
Try MIDI notes 36-60.

03 Window Bead
One bead gathering on the glass.
Use light taps in the upper half of the suggested range.
Try MIDI notes 52-72.

04 Tin Bucket Drop
Water striking the side of a metal bucket.
Tap isolated notes. Move the mod wheel down for a steadier pitch.

05 Under The Eaves
Several drops landing close together.
Hold a note for the repeating motion; turn LFO Rate to change the spacing.

06 Gutter Glug
A blocked gutter letting go.
Play low, separated notes. The mod wheel controls the pitch movement.

07 Big Plop
A heavy drop into a puddle.
Hold each note briefly, then leave a gap.

08 Last Drop
The final drop after the shower.
Hold a higher note briefly and allow the release to finish.

09 Puddle Heel
A heel coming down in shallow water.
Play short low notes, then repeat with different velocities.

10 Kerb Splash
A passing wheel throwing water from the kerb.
Hold a note through the swell; use shorter taps to cut it off.

11 Wet Slap
A palm striking the surface.
Tap notes sharply and leave gaps between them.

12 Drain Gargle
Water circling a drain.
Hold a low note, then vary the wheel and LFO Rate.

13 Umbrella Shake
Shaking the water off a folded umbrella.
Hold the key through the decay. Adjust the wheel for less movement.

14 Boot Full
Water sloshing inside a boot.
Use low notes and let the envelope run before playing again.

15 Splosh Below
Water dropping into a deep shaft.
Hold a low note for the tail, then release fully before the next hit.

16 Tin Roof Ticks
Hard drops on a corrugated roof.
Play repeated upper notes with small changes in velocity.

17 Glass Patter
Drops tapping a window.
Hold an upper note; turn the wheel down to soften the pattern.

Rain on a tent roof.

Hailstones hitting a metal lid.

A full gutter rattling along the wall.

The weight of a storm before it breaks.

Wind catching an open pipe.

A torrent pouring into a drain.
